In addition to the full traditional bar, the Commander has an extensive cocktail menu and offers a free in-house Crèche facility on Saturdays and Sundays.

Pub Quiz – every Sunday from 8pm, you can join a relaxed, informal and fun quiz with no microphones. Free to play and you can win your supper or a tab up to the value of £100.

Delicatessen 7.30 to 17.00: Breakfast weekdays from 7.30 to 11.00. Coffee and sandwiches available all day. Eat-in or take-away.
Oyster Bar 12.00 to Midnight: Serving a choice of fresh oysters and Crustaceans. Enjoy chilled langoustines or the excellent iced shellfish platter. Specials include: 
- Mon to Fri oysters for £1 each before 6.00 pm
- 2 glasses of Champagne & half dozen oysters £18.
Lunch from 12.00 to 15.00: Weekdays a set lunch menu of 2 courses for £12.95 and 3 courses for £16.95. Saturday – lunch à la carte until 15.30.
Traditional Sunday lunch from 12.30 – 15.30 with a free professionally supervised crèche for the kids (upstairs) when dining in the restaurant. In addition to à la carte, 3 courses for £25.50.

Gardens & Courtyard: A quiet garden at the rear (seats up to 45 people) for al fresco dining in summer. At the front, outside seating is available for 20 people. A covered and heated courtyard area seats 16.
Private Dining and Entertaining Facilities: 3 private dining /function rooms available upstairs. You can choose from the intimate Library Room, the impressive Hereford Room with its own private balcony or the spacious Gallery Room.
